Short version: Istețel works fully offline. It does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal data. There are no accounts, no ads, no analytics, and no tracking. Everything your child does stays on the device.
1.Who we are

2.Data we collect
None. The app does not ask for, collect, or process any personal information. We do not request a name, email, phone number, location, photos, contacts, or any account.
3.How learning progress is stored
The app saves your child's learning progress (completed lessons, scores, streaks, difficulty level, and app settings) locally on the device only, using the operating system's standard local storage. This information:
- never leaves the device;
- is not sent to us or to anyone else;
- is not linked to any identity or account;
- is permanently removed when you delete the app.
4.Internet & network
Istețel does not require an internet connection to work and does not make network requests for its learning features. The app contains no advertising SDKs, no analytics SDKs, and no third-party tracking code.
5.Text-to-speech & sounds
To help children hear pronunciation, the app uses the device's built-in text-to-speech engine provided by the operating system. Words to be spoken are processed on the device by the system. We do not record audio and we do not access the microphone. Sound effects are bundled with the app and play locally.
6.Children's privacy
Istețel is designed for children. Because the app collects no personal data, transmits nothing, and contains no ads, social features, or external links inside the learning flow, it is built to align with children's privacy standards such as COPPA (US) and the GDPR-K provisions of the EU GDPR. We do not knowingly collect any information from children or anyone else.
7.Third parties
We do not sell, rent, or share data with third parties — because we hold no data. The only third party involved is the device operating system (Apple iOS / iPadOS or Google Android), which provides the local storage and text-to-speech features described above, under its own privacy terms.
8.Your rights & control
You stay in full control. To erase all locally stored progress, delete the app from the device, or clear the app's data in your device settings. Since no data is held on our servers, there is nothing for us to delete on your behalf — but you may always contact us with questions.
9.Changes to this policy
If the app's behavior ever changes (for example, if an optional online feature is added in the future), we will update this page and revise the date below before that feature ships.
